So Maisie Peter’s track “Neck of The Woods“ from Apple TV+ show “Trying“ was nominated in the 2021 HMMA Music in Visual Media awards in the Best Song in TV Show / Limited Series category. Really love this track and was a pleasure to drum on it!
So I’ve been on the Ward Thomas tour for about a week. It’s been a blast..the girls are obviously amazing and loads of fun but the whole group are some of the nicest, most talented folks you’d ever meet. Still got the rest of November to go and really looking forward to it all!
Great to play live with Ward Thomas down at the amazing Eden Project recently. It was such a nice chance to play some tunes I’d recorded in the studio, which doesn't get to happen as often I would like! The girls as ever were class!
So the recording during lockdown was for Apple TV+ show “Trying“ with the soundtrack written by the incredible Maisie Peters. Such a great collection of songs and featuring the amazing James Bay, Griff and Bear’s Den. Got to play on pretty much the whole album so feel really privileged to have been able to do it during this pretty awful year!
Well that took just a bit…all gigs stopped mid march last year and it’s been a whole lot of nothing as you’d expect from being a performer. However I just had the total and utter pleasure of getting back in the studio for a record that’s coming out soon. It felt pretty emotional to be back in doing what I love to be honest…here’s hoping it’s not another year before I can hit things again! Will update with who/what is for when it’s released!
